Amy Schumer is keeping it genuine.
The “Trainwreck” star, who has been bracingly honest about experiencing IVF to attempt to conceive a second kid, posted an update on Instagram.
“They retrieved 35 eggs from me,” the 38-year-old comedian wrote. “Not bad for the old gal right?? Then 26 fertilized! Whoah right? For all of those, we got 1 normal embryo from that and 2 low-level mosaic (mosiac means there are some abnormal cells but can still lead to a healthy baby) So we feel lucky we got 1.”
Schumer, who wedded chef expert Chris Fischer in 2018, chronicled her troublesome pregnancy with child Gene via web-based networking media, documenting her emergency clinic visits and extraordinary morning infection. She gave birth in May 2018.
Prior this year, the Comedy Central star posted a photograph of her wounded stomach and uncovered that she was experiencing IVF medications.
“I’m a week into IVF and feeling run down and emotional. If anyone went through it and if you have any advice or wouldn’t mind sharing your experience with me please do,” she wrote. “My number is in my bio. We are freezing my eggs and figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling. ❤️”
Schumer likewise said that got notification from other ladies about their fertility treatments is empowering and once again asked anybody to content her their encounters (Her phone number is listed in her Instagram bio), clarifying that she reads the messages when she cannot sleep.
